1. What do I need to rent a scooter?

You must be at least 21 years old with a car driving license (category B) held for at least 3 years and some experience riding scooters. Alternatively, if you're 18, you can rent with a valid motorcycle license (A1 or A) for 125cc.

2. How can I pay and what is the deposit for?

You can pay securely on our website using a credit card. If you book in person or over the phone, we accept credit cards and cash. The deposit can be paid by credit card, debit card, or cash.

We temporarily block a €350 deposit to cover any potential damage or fines. If you ride responsibly, you won’t need to worry. At Viento, we’re transparent and trustworthy, if there are any fines or repair costs, we’ll share the details with you. Got questions? Just call or email us!

3. Can my passenger drive too?

Yes! Our Lambrettas are made for two. Your passenger can also drive as long as they’re added to the rental agreement as an additional driver and have a valid license. They’ll be covered by insurance too.

4. Are the Lambrettas manual or automatic?

All of our Lambrettas are fully automatic, super easy to ride!

5. Do you deliver scooters to my hotel or house?

Absolutely! We offer delivery and pickup anywhere on the island, even different drop-off points. We're super flexible and happy to accommodate your needs.

6. Can I take my Lambretta off the island?

No. All our Lambrettas must stay on the island of Mallorca.

7. Do I get a helmet with my rental?

Yes! Helmets for one or two people are included in the rental price.

8. What happens if the scooter breaks down or if I get a flat tire?

No worries, just call the roadside assistance number provided in your contract or inside your scooter. All our scooters are covered for breakdowns.

A flat tire costs €35 to fix. If you keep riding and damage the tire, you'll have to pay for a full replacement. We don’t come out to change tires, but roadside assistance is available 24/7. Premium insurance covers punctures too.

9. What does the insurance cover?

Our standard insurance includes third-party damage and roadside assistance. You can upgrade to a premium insurance plan with more coverage and a lower excess for extra peace of mind.

10. Is there a mileage limit?

Nope! You get unlimited kilometers so you can explore Mallorca without limits.

12. What if I have an accident or my scooter is stolen?

In case of an accident, you'll need to complete a damage report and bring it to our office within 24 hours. If you don't have premium insurance, damage costs must be paid. In case of theft, the full value of the scooter and any extras will need to be reimbursed.

13. What if I rent a scooter but don’t know how to drive it?

If you're not able to drive, the rental contract will be cancelled with no refund. Riders must be at least 21, have experience, and be capable of safe driving. We reserve the right to cancel bookings if someone appears unfit to ride.

14. What if I lose the keys?

If the scooter keys are lost, the full deposit will be charged. For safety reasons, all locks must be replaced with new original ones. We don’t deliver spare keys, customers must pick them up from our office during business hours. Key loss is covered under premium insurance.

15. Do you deliver scooters to my hotel or house?
